This Tropical Mango Pineapple Smoothie tastes like sunshine in a glass! It’s brimming with mango, pineapple, banana, and coconut.

I’m not really a smoothie-for-breakfast person, actually. I strongly prefer cooked food first thing in the morning because it’s easier to digest. And frankly, a giant glass of ice-cold liquid sounds like a bit of a shock to the system when I’m still half-asleep.

Instead, I usually enjoy smoothies as a mid-morning or late-night snack. Lately, though, I’ve been in a bit of a smoothie rut. My go-to smoothie is a gloopy brown concoction containing heaps of spinach, some frozen berries, and a spoonful of peanut butter. It’s delicious, yes, but it’s very, very ugly. And I’m getting a little sick of it.

So, in an effort to break the smoothie monotony, I decided to take a trip to the proverbial coast. This Tropical Mango Pineapple Smoothie is the antithesis to all the sad, ugly smoothies of yesteryear. She’s glowy. She’s exotic. She is serving us looks AND flavor. We love her.

This really is more of a snack smoothie than a meal smoothie, since its only ingredients are fruit and milk. To bulk it up a little, you could add a scoop of yogurt or even some nut butter. Whenever I make this smoothie, I add in a giant handful of greens. (I can’t help myself.) However, it’s really and truly perfect on its own if you’re looking to keep it simple.

I hope you love this gorgeous mango pineapple smoothie! It’ll whisk you away to a beach, even if you’re stuck inside your house like me. And couldn’t we all use a little getaway right now? I think yes.
